The Hulamin Extrusions plants operate a quality system approved to ISO 9001:2008. This system allows management of quality throughout the production process starting with a comprehensive contract review, through to shipment of a product to customers. Laboratory facilities are available which include spectrographic analysis of all material produced, tensile testing of finished products, ultrasonic testing etc.
Extruded profiles are produced to the tolerances indicated in the Hulamin Extrusions Data link, copies of which are available on request from your nearest Hulamin Extrusions office. The manufacturing tolerances are those of BS EN 755:1997. Manufacturing to other tolerances such as DIN is also possible upon request and prior agreement. Anodised products are produced to the requirements of SABS 999 and SABS 1407.
